EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS AND INTERNS
Anna Yankelev is a second year Master's of Public Health student in the Community Health Sciences department, and is also a Master's of Business Administration candidate in the Management department. Anna's primary focus is on building power for health equity by working with local organizations and health departments on structural level changes (including social and political policies) to ensure that everyone has the opportunity for good health. Anna also works as a Research Assistant at the MidAmerica Center for Public Health Practice, assisting with qualitative research and analysis on various projects. Finally, Anna is a facilitator for Radical Public Health, a student organization dedicated to raising awareness and action surrounding the root causes of health inequity.
In her work with the Collaborative for Health Equity Cook County, she also assists with community outreach, knowledge translation, and policy analysis for both the One Fair Wage campaign in Calumet City and the Protect Immigrant Health Now campaign in Cook County.
Ebony Skinner is currently completing her Master of Public Health at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA.
