On January 17th, 2017, Village of Oak Park Trustees supported residents testimony (LINK TO VIDEO) in favor of a strong ordinance with No Loopholes that weaken sanctuary and threaten the health and safety of immigrants, and the public at large. The Village Manager and Attorney--who included loopholes that undermine human rights of immigrants-- were instructed to include the expertise and desires of residents--#NOLOOPHOLES, #PROTECTIONNOCOLLABORATION
